Isn't it true that we all live in our own little universes? You are the sun and our friends and family are the planets that revolve around us. Think about it. Most of the time school, sports, and family is what builds our lives. It doesn't seem like we are being selfish. You can be a perfectly nice, polite, and well rounded person but still live in your universe.

In the end of it all it's not just you, your family, your schoolmates, or your friends who make a difference in the world; it's everyone.

I mean, if we're all solitary beings who are focusing on their personal solar system we won't get far as a neighborhood, city, country, or WORLD. To build a successful future for people everywhere we need to unite, and in a sense, make the milkyway: all worlds together.

My point is that EVERYONE matters, so next time someone is passing you on a sidewalk think for a moment about their lives. Give the person a smile and brighten their day because if the world is sad and gloomy how do you think our future will be? People who you don't give a second thought about matter. They make a contribution to the human race just as much as anyone in your "universe".

I am in middle school and I read an amazing book called The Secret To Teen Power and it is all about positive energy. Basically, what comes around goes around. If you are a nice, happy person good things will happen and if you are a negitive, sad person bad things will happen. This is called the law of attraction and it is just as effective as gravity! My book said to be nice to people everywhere.... so the next day.... "hi!" "how are ya?" "wassup?!". I was greeting people who I didn't even know. Lunch was suddenly an opportunity to meet new people and talk to them about their day. I almost instanly got results! I felt so much better about myself and made amazing friends! In addition, people began to respect me because I was a nice, caring, and trustworthy person. Opening up your world and your perspectives isn't so bad after all. Let's make a milkyway!
