Cliques.
Cliques are everywhere. You can not get away from them. Everyone has their group of good friends. But sometimes when you try to go to another group of friends peope can be cruel about it and not let you in theirs. I will admit I myself have a clique of friends that I am always with, and we have been friends for years. But my clique is different when people want to be in our group of friends we dont care we love meeting new people. Though most of the people in my group of friends I have been friends with them forever we just got to a new school this year and were worried about us spliting apart. We managed to stay together, but we do have a few other people in our group now. When the new people came to sit with us at lunch we scooted over and let them and now we are all best friends. But some people I know at my school would not do the same they would say, "umm, what are you doing? this is our table." People like that you should not even want to be friends with. When you are trying so hard to get in a group and they are making you do silly things to be in it, you should just move on and find new people. Do not just try to be friends with them because they are the "cool" ones. You are cool on your own. It is more important to have great friends then it is to be popular.
